Getting Ready
So many things to plan for when you’re expecting a new baby! The Nursery. The Shower. The Birth. The Baby.
As Postpartum Doulas, we have seen, and used, just about every baby product out there. And there are more introduced every day! Some are great new takes on time-tested favorites, others are simply not worth your money. We have relationships with local maternity, birth and postpartum resources that many new parents find helpful and can recommend providers specific to your needs, location and budget.
Baby Planning Consultation
The Baby Planning Consultation provides the essentials of preparing for your new arrival. We will meet with you in your home to discuss your pregnancy, your plans and your goals. We will conduct an individual assessment of your needs with our New Mom Questionnaire. Based on our discussions and assessment, you will receive a personalized “Baby Guidebook” that lists everything you’ll need, our product recommendations, and suggestions on where to shop (locally and online).
Baby Registry
Our Baby Registry service can be added onto our basic Baby Planning Consultation. Based on your personalized “Baby Guidebook”, we can set up your registries for you. Any busy new mom can benefit from this service, but it is especially helpful for moms on bed rest.
Nursery Set-up
We are also available to set up your nursery for you so everything is ready when your little one decides to make their arrival. We can prewash, fold and organize clothes, blankets, diapers, burp cloths, etc. We can assemble cribs, bassinettes, bouncy seats and swings. Sit back and let us do all the work for you.
Nursery Design
Your options for designing your nursery are abundant. Gone are the days of cookie-cutter pink and blue rooms. From Classic, to Contemporary, to Modern, to Eco-Friendly, we can help you choose the furnishings, colors and layouts that fit your style and budget.
Baby Shower Planning
No time to plan your baby shower? Leave it to us! We create a custom invitation, cater the event, plan fun games (if you want them) prepare a gift list and thank you notes. All you need to do is provide us with your guest list and let us create a baby shower experience for you to enjoy. P.S. When you call us to discuss, be sure to ask about our amazing cupcakes!
