I have had a passion for all things “baby” since I was a young child. Once my two daughters were in school full time, I followed that passion to become a Postpartum Doula in 2005. I recently became trained as a Birth Doula and am excited to begin my journey supporting mothers in labor.

I believe that becoming a mother is an ongoing process, and the birth of a baby is just the beginning of a complex, deep, and challenging relationship. I find great joy in teaching and guiding my children, but I am continually amazed at what they have to teach me.

As a teacher I have worked with both Early Childhood and Elementary age children. Some of my most rewarding times as a teacher have been opportunities to support families around parenting issues and helping them understand the developmental needs of their child. As a doula I have the wonderful privilege of working with families when they bring a new baby home. This is both a magical and stressful time and assisting new families has been very rewarding.

Through my work as a PCI© Certified Parent Coach I can support parents to be “the best parents they can be”. This is proving to be a life changing experience for me and I am enjoying every moment!
